In the distant past, nature was perfectly able to break down and process waste on its own.

However, the speed at which our consumer society produces waste is so high that, without human intervention, the planet would be inundated with mountains of refuge.

Yet much of the waste that is produced contains valuable raw materials that can be reused by recycling it.
The Limburgse Mineraalbrekerij offers nature a helping hand by processing production rejects and/or residual batches from here and abroad into new, high-quality ceramic products that can be reused in e.g. the ceramic industry.

The Limburgse Mineraalbrekerij manufactures new raw materials and, if applicable, certified products from ceramic production waste not destined for reuse in the ceramic industry and markets these products through its in-house sales organisation.

Examples thereof include:
  •     tennis court gravel (0-2 mm) KNLTB/NOC-NSF test certificated
  •     tennis court infill (e.g. red) certificated
  •     raw materials for the sandstone industry
  •     oil absorbing grains
  •     ceramic grains for different target groups and applications such as foundries, moulds, sand bedding etc.
Under the careful supervision of renowned laboratories, the Limburgse Mineraalbrekerij is on an innovative and continuous quest for opportunities to create new applications from industrial production (waste). It is this approach in thinking and business practice that makes the Limburgse Mineraalbrekerij so strong.
